Truffle Mac and Cheese

A luxurious twist on classic mac and cheese featuring black truffle, Gruyère, and aged cheddar in a creamy sauce.

Ingredients
- 500g macaroni pasta
- 250g Gruyère cheese, grated
- 250g aged cheddar, grated
- 100g Parmesan, grated
- 60g butter
- 60g flour
- 750ml whole milk
- 2 tbsp black truffle paste
- 1 tsp truffle oil
- 100g panko breadcrumbs
- Salt and white pepper to taste
- Nutmeg, pinch
Instructions
- 1. Cook pasta until al dente
- 2. Make roux with butter and flour
- 3. Gradually whisk in warm milk
- 4. Add cheeses and truffle paste
- 5. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg
- 6. Mix with pasta and transfer to baking dish
- 7. Top with breadcrumbs and remaining cheese
- 8. Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes until golden
- 9. Drizzle with truffle oil before serving

- Use high-quality truffle products for best results
- Can substitute fresh truffle when in season
